Environmental Planning Director
Job Summary
Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities, the full-time Environmental Planning Director will lead outreach and account positioning strategies while delivering high-quality NEPA assessments and regulatory compliance for energy and nuclear projects, based in St. Louis, MO or remotely within the Midwest Region.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage client relationships while driving capture plans across multiple states
- Lead proposal development, including strategy, technical approach, pricing, and reviews
- Direct NEPA and Environmental Report deliverables, ensuring quality oversight and compliance
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in environmental/biological science, planning, engineering, or related discipline
- 12+ years of experience leading NEPA/ESIA efforts for energy or nuclear projects
- Strong command of NEPA regulations and experience with nuclear licensing reviews
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects effectively
- Demonstrated success in developing winning proposals and fostering client relationships
