Environmental Underwriting Vice President

Job Summary

Responsible for executing complex underwriting activities, the full-time Environmental Underwriting Vice President will analyze submissions, develop pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with standards while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze complex submissions to determine risk acceptance and pricing strategy
• Develop and negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for high-value accounts in accordance with guidelines
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced underwriters while managing sophisticated accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional underwriting experience in commercial or specialty lines
• Demonstrated experience managing complex accounts and applying advanced underwriting judgment
• Completion of industry designations such as CPCU, AU, or equivalent is highly preferred
• State-specific insurance licenses may be required depending on jurisdiction
