Epic Application Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Epic support team, the full-time Epic Application Analyst will assist in the development and design of the Professional Billing application, troubleshoot issues, perform system testing, and contribute to training and documentation in a hybrid/remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with end users and Health IT teams to troubleshoot basic issues and ensure the Epic system operates smoothly
- Participate in the development and design of assigned Epic module(s), gaining in-depth knowledge of the application
- Contribute to training, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts within the Epic support team
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 0 to 2 years of experience in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Epic software applications
- Ability to complete and pass certification in assigned Epic application module(s) within 120 days of employment
- Technical aptitude for quickly learning Epic and understanding technical details
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced academic medical setting
