Epic Certified Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support health system needs, the full-time IT Integration Engineer will develop interfaces using standards such as HL7 and FHIR, write efficient interface logic, and maintain Epic certifications while working remotely with occasional onsite requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement interfaces based on documented specifications using various standards and protocols
• Translate clinical and non-clinical requests into effective solutions and support application upgrades and enhancements
• Maintain Epic certifications and adhere to quality standards in interface development and support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, clinical, or related field, or equivalent experience/training
• Current Epic Bridges Certification with active maintenance of Version Training Certificates
• 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare information systems or clinical management systems
• 2+ years of experience with Epic Bridges Interface and Cerner OPENLink Integration Engine
• Experience with HL7, EDI standards, and full interface development, testing, implementation, and support
