Job Summary
To support healthcare integration needs, the remote IT Integration Engineer will develop interfaces using standards such as HL7 and FHIR, maintain Epic certifications, and translate clinical requests into effective solutions, with occasional onsite requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain efficient interface logic based on documented specifications
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, and ticket resolution while adhering to quality standards
- Utilize interface engines to meet health system needs and manage full interface lifecycle, including development and testing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technology, clinical, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training
- Current Epic Bridges Certification, with active maintenance of all certifications
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare information systems or clinical management systems
- Experience with Cerner OPENLink Integration Engine and FTP/SFTP solutions
- Familiarity with various interfaces including Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy integration
