Job Summary
To support enterprise healthcare database environments, the fully remote Epic Database Administrator will manage, optimize, and support database systems across on-premises, virtual, and cloud platforms, focusing on performance, security, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade Epic database environments and related Windows applications
- Lead and coordinate the Epic ECSA/ODBA team, including project planning, mentoring, and on-call support
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance, capacity, storage, and resource utilization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Eight years of relevant experience, including Epic ODBA/ECSA
- Epic ODBA, ECSA, Data Courier, or Chronicles certification
