EPIC HIM Applications Analyst
Job Summary
To support the EPIC HIM and Identity software modules, the full-time EPIC HIM Applications Analyst will manage system evaluations, enhancements, and project management activities while working remotely and collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to improve workflows and patient safety.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance existing systems while performing project management activities
- Consult and communicate extensively with clinical and administrative users to support application usage
- Assist in the analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of assigned application software
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
- EPIC HIM certification
- Experience with clinical assessment, planning, and project management
- Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
