Job Summary
To support revenue integrity, the full-time Epic Reimbursement Contracts Specialist will manage the build and maintenance of Hospital Billing and Professional Billing reimbursement contracts in Epic, perform reimbursement analysis, and address flagged underpayments and overpayments, all while working remotely from approved states.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, analyze, and support Epic's Reimbursement Contracts
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Hospital and Professional Billing reimbursement modules
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure contract accuracy and reconcile payment variances
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Business Administration, or related field
- Epic certification in Hospital Billing and Professional Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Three years of direct experience with Epic Contracts Reimbursements in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of medical terminology, claims billing, and both inpatient and outpatient coding
- Experience utilizing Epic reporting tools for underpayment analysis
