Epic Systems Architect
Job Summary
To support operational efficiency, the full-time Epic Systems Architect will extract and operationalize data from client hospitals' Epic systems, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance revenue cycle workflows in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine optimal methods for retrieving revenue cycle data from Epic systems
- Extend existing FHIR-based Epic integration to additional client environments and use cases
- Translate business needs into technical retrieval solutions, creating scalable and repeatable processes
Required Qualifications
- Deep, hands-on Epic expertise in data access, integration, interoperability, and automation
- Significant formal Epic training and relevant Epic certifications
- Recent experience with Epic APIs, FHIR, Clarity/reporting, and data retrieval related to billing/claims
- Strong understanding of Epic revenue cycle data and workflows
- Ability to design scalable retrieval processes across different client configurations
