Equine Operations Technician

Job Summary

Working full-time in a hybrid environment, the Equine Operations Technician will manage billing, underwriting, and claims processes while providing exceptional customer service to external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with policyholders to address questions and resolve issues while maintaining rapport
• Perform technical duties related to claims, billing, and underwriting, including new claim setup and data entry
• Assist with data reporting using tools such as Power BI and Excel, while maintaining accurate file status throughout the claims lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior insurance and/or billing experience preferred
• Experience or knowledge in the equine industry preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational skills and a customer service-focused mindset
