ESG Due Diligence Consultant
Job Summary
To support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, the contracted ESG Due Diligence Consultant will scope and review Environmental Site Assessments, assess site contamination and compliance, and lead EHS integration in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Scope and review Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments with qualified firms
- Assess site contamination, legacy liabilities, ecological risks, and compliance with environmental permits
- Lead EHS integration and develop safety and sustainability improvement plans post-acquisition
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, EHS leadership, or transaction environmental review
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; PE or CHMM certification is a plus
- Hands-on familiarity with ASTM E1527 Phase I standards and regulatory permitting
- Experience in specialty chemicals, oil & gas, mining, or industrial manufacturing preferred
