ETL Tester
Job Summary
Working fully remote, the ETL Tester will design, automate, and execute test cases for Enterprise Data Warehouse ETL processes in a State Government Medicaid environment, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for validating functional and non-functional requirements of ETL data pipelines
- Perform backend testing to ensure data quality, standardization, and accurate mapping from source systems to target Medicaid EDW
- Develop automated validation scripts and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Python and Azure DevOps
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience in ETL, data warehouse, or healthcare analytics environments
- Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases such as Teradata or SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Python, Azure, and Azure Data Factory for test automation and data validation
- Experience with ETL tools like Informatica and test management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
