EU Regulatory Affairs Director
Job Summary
To drive regulatory innovation in the EU, the full-time salaried EU Regulatory Affairs Director will implement regulatory strategies, engage with stakeholders, and lead efforts to accelerate the development and approval of therapies for type 1 diabetes (T1D) while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Implement Breakthrough T1D's regulatory strategy to expedite the development and approval of T1D therapies in the EU
- Identify solutions to regulatory challenges and advance regulatory science in T1D therapy development
- Develop relationships with regulatory stakeholders and industry partners to support T1D product development
Required qualifications
- Advanced scientific, legal, or business degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or related fields, with a preference for type 1 diabetes experience
- Extensive knowledge of EU regulatory laws and processes
- Proven success in managing regulatory policy and affairs for complex medical therapies
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and stakeholders
