Job Summary
Supporting the University Library's reference services, the part-time Evening and Weekend Reference Librarian will provide assistance to students and faculty through virtual communication channels while developing research guides and troubleshooting library systems remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evening and weekend reference and research assistance to students and faculty through virtual communication channels
- Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of research guides and instructional materials
- Resolve library systems and electronic resource issues, including troubleshooting access problems and submitting support requests
Required qualifications
- MLS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited program
- Experience in providing reference services to students and faculty
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with current library reference trends and a commitment to learning innovative practices
- Support for the University's mission and adherence to employee policies
