Event Setup Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Event Setup Specialist will evaluate incoming documents and data from medical providers, update patient files in AcciClaim, and determine appropriate next steps based on available information and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data to identify leads and important information for event management
• Enter relevant new information into patient records and synthesize data to determine additional needs
• Achieve production standards and QA requirements while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

Required qualifications

• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with minimal errors
• Proven reliability and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of computer functions and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of medical revenue operations and patient accounting hierarchy
• Ability to adapt workflow according to client contractual and state requirements
