Executive Director

Job Summary

Leading an international nonprofit organization, the full-time remote Executive Director will provide leadership, support infrastructure, coordinate event planning, and enhance financial sustainability while representing the mission of the Association for Death Education and Counseling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and support leadership across all areas of the organization
• Coordinate event planning and management to facilitate organizational activities
• Maintain and enhance the financial sustainability of ADEC

Required qualifications

• Master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Five or more years of senior nonprofit management and leadership experience
• Experience in event planning management and membership software
• Successful track record of working with a volunteer Board of Directors
• Demonstrated success in nonprofit fundraising and membership growth
