Executive Director of Bioanalytical Sciences

Job Summary

Leading the company's bioanalytical strategy and execution, the full-time remote Executive Director of Bioanalytical Sciences will manage bioanalytical support across research, translational, and clinical programs while ensuring assay readiness, data quality, and compliance with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the bioanalytical strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap aligned with portfolio priorities
• Provide scientific oversight for assay strategy, method development, validation, and lifecycle management
• Build and lead the Bioanalytical Sciences function, focusing on organizational design, recruitment, and performance management

Required Qualifications

• PhD or advanced equivalent degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as biochemistry or pharmacology
• 15 or more years of progressive bioanalytical experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
• Demonstrated success in leading bioanalytical strategy across multiple programs and development stages
• Deep expertise in bioanalytical method development, qualification, and lifecycle management
• Strong knowledge of global bioanalytical regulatory expectations and experience managing external partnerships
