Job Summary
Supporting the export compliance program, the full-time remote Export Compliance Specialist will ensure that international shipments and documentation comply with U.S. export regulations while collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate compliant goods movement.
Key responsibilities
- Review export transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Conduct compliance screenings and prepare necessary export documentation, including EEI filings
- Collaborate with clients, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve compliance-related issues
Required qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Two or more years of experience in export compliance, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage preferred
- Experience with export documentation and international shipping processes preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. export regulations and international trade practices preferred
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus
