Export Operations Agent

Job Summary

To provide exceptional customer service in air export shipments, the full-time Export Operations Agent will manage the coordination, execution, and tracking of shipments while working remotely in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule shipments for transportation, ensuring compliance and efficiency
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors, while preparing quotations and managing documentation
• Track and trace freight, providing updates on estimated times of arrival and maintaining accurate records in the operating system

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of transportation and/or freight forwarding experience in air/ocean export
• Working knowledge of spot quotes, LTL, TL, and expedited ground services
• Experience negotiating rates with trucking companies and carriers
• Functional knowledge of international regulations and compliance procedures in air/ocean freight
