Job Summary
Seeking a full-time F5 WAF Engineer to work remotely, who will design, implement, and maintain F5 Advanced WAF policies for enterprise web applications and APIs, collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define policy baselines, and support application security alert-response activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain F5 Advanced WAF policies for web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with system owners and developers to tune WAF policies and investigate false positives
- Monitor WAF events and assist with cybersecurity alert triage and incident response
Required qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with F5 Advanced WAF or a comparable enterprise WAF platform
- Experience analyzing WAF logs and security events, and collaborating with application teams
