Facilities Technician

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Facilities Technician for a full-time position focused on assessing and managing real property data for large federal facilities, contributing to effective repair and maintenance strategies in a remote work environment with limited supervision.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) to evaluate operating efficiency and remaining life expectancy
• Utilize proprietary software to input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data
• Generate inventory condition reports and collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals and deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Trade experience in Commercial Plumbing, HVAC, Structural, or Electrical Systems with a minimum of two years of experience
• Experience in commercial or government property evaluation using computerized systems
• High school diploma required; former military members with a construction or facilities management background are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Must be eligible for a government Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation)
