Facility Security Officer

Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for government and customer security representatives, the part-time Facility Security Officer will administer the company's industrial security program, manage personnel security processes, and ensure compliance with security policies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the industrial security program in accordance with NISP requirements
• Manage personnel security processes, including security clearance processing and reporting requirements
• Coordinate security briefings, training, and maintain documentation related to security compliance

Required qualifications

• Experience in industrial security, government contracting, or a cleared defense environment
• Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program and security requirements
• Experience administering personnel security and classified information security programs
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business software
