Family Advocate

Job Summary

To support family engagement initiatives, the full-time Family Advocate will serve as the primary liaison among youth, parents, caregivers, and community resources in Bayam n and Ponce, while facilitating caregiver learning and connecting families to support services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead caregiver engagement and deliver the Survival Skills for Healthy Families program to designated participants
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, session fidelity, and implementation metrics
• Coordinate family referrals and establish relationships with community service providers to support participant needs

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in social work, psychology, counseling, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
• Ability to facilitate caregiver groups and maintain accurate records
• Experience in establishing referral relationships and documenting follow-through
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
