Job Summary
To support the Federal Transit Administration's Office of Acquisition Management, the full-time remote Acquisition Liaison will provide federal acquisition expertise, assist in developing acquisition packages, and coordinate procurement actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide federal acquisition support to program and technical offices throughout the full acquisition lifecycle
- Serve as a liaison between program personnel and acquisition professionals to ensure proper development and documentation of procurement requirements
- Assist with preparing and reviewing acquisition documentation, including Statements of Work and market research reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or higher degree
- At least 5 years of relevant federal acquisition or contracting experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation to federal procurements
- Experience supporting acquisition actions from planning through award, administration, and closeout
- Experience with multiple contract types, including Firm-Fixed Price and Cost-Reimbursable
