Federal Business Development Manager

Job Summary

Experienced in federal business development, the full-time Federal Business Development & Capture Manager - AI Technologies will independently identify opportunities, build government customer relationships, and manage proposal submissions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify government mission needs and funding opportunities aligned with AI products
• Establish and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and lead discovery conversations to understand operational challenges
• Write and manage solution briefs, proposals, and submissions while developing capture strategies and execution plans

Required qualifications

• At least three years of relevant federal business development, capture, or proposal experience
• Direct experience with at least one pathway: CSOs, Tradewinds, or SBIR/STTR
• Demonstrated experience engaging government customers and advancing opportunities toward funded contracts
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to develop compelling content from technical materials
• Working knowledge of federal technology acquisition and ability to learn additional funding pathways
