Job Summary
Seeking a results-driven Federal Business Development Manager, this full-time hybrid role will focus on expanding the federal portfolio, particularly with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of War (DoW), by building relationships, developing strategies, and leading opportunities from identification through award.
Key responsibilities
- Build and convert a qualified federal pipeline focused on realistic opportunities, especially within DHS and DoW
- Develop strong relationships with program leaders, contracting officials, and industry partners to ensure successful engagements
- Lead opportunities from identification through award, including customer engagement and proposal strategy
Required qualifications
- At least eight years of federal business development or capture experience with a proven growth record
- Current relationships and credibility within DHS, DoW, or closely aligned federal markets
- Strong knowledge of federal buying behavior, acquisition cycles, and competitive procurements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Experience selling professional services in emergency management or related fields is preferred
