Job Summary
Supporting the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the full-time remote Contract Specialist will manage end-to-end acquisition support, including preparing solicitations, conducting price analyses, and ensuring contract compliance with FAR regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research and support acquisition planning for various acquisitions at IMLS
- Draft solicitations and issue purchase orders under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold
- Prepare and complete CPARS past performance evaluations and maintain audit-ready contract files
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- At least 24 semester hours in relevant fields such as accounting, business, or finance
- 4+ years of federal contracting experience as a Contract Specialist or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the FAR and federal acquisition systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
