Job Summary
Advising on the design and validation of a next-generation financial statement solution, the part-time or full-time Federal Financial Reporting Specialist will work remotely to enhance federal financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise on the design and construction of the solution's data model and validate financial statement outputs
- Validate USSGL crosswalks and ensure accurate mapping of transactions to financial statement line items
- Conduct business process analysis and manage the solution roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of federal financial management experience, preferably with federal agencies or consulting firms
- Demonstrated experience in federal financial statement preparation and auditing
- Hands-on experience with GTAS and familiarity with the Treasury Financial Manual
- Strong knowledge of OMB Circulars A-123, A-136, and A-11
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with additional experience considered in lieu of a degree
