Federal Senior Subcontracts Manager

Job Summary

To support subcontracting needs for proposals and operations programs, the full-time Federal Senior Subcontracts Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and driving strategic subcontracting initiatives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor performance management from solicitation through closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR and DFARS
• Develop and implement subcontracting strategies while acting as a business advisor for project teams on subcontract administration
• Lead negotiations and manage subcontract agreements, focusing on terms, pricing, and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Extensive knowledge of various subcontract award types and FAR/DFARS compliance
• Experience in Defense, National Security, or Intelligence sectors preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Coupa and/or Costpoint) and Contract Lifecycle Management systems
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various stakeholders
