FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Acting as the primary owner of the FedRAMP environment, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will ensure its reliability, security, and compliance while managing patching, deployment, and continuous monitoring in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the availability, performance, and compliance of the FedRAMP environment, ensuring adherence to FedRAMP baseline standards
• Manage the patching and vulnerability remediation lifecycle, meeting established SLAs and maintaining necessary documentation
• Implement and enhance the Continuous Monitoring program, including vulnerability scanning and annual assessments

Required qualifications

• US citizenship or lawful permanent residency with the ability to pass background investigations
• Proven experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Cloud engineer in regulated environments such as FedRAMP or FISMA
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS, particularly AWS GovCloud
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 controls and the FedRAMP continuous monitoring process
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipeline technologies
