FedRAMP Technical Writer
Job Summary
Supporting cloud operations teams, the fully remote FedRAMP Technical Writer will create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation related to FedRAMP compliance and cloud infrastructure during EST or CST business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain FedRAMP documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document technical processes and system architectures
- Track documentation deliverables and project milestones to ensure timely completion of compliance initiatives
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of technical writing experience in cloud operations, cybersecurity, or compliance programs
- Hands-on experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and related federal compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple documentation initiatives
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
