FERC Coordinator Team Lead

Job Summary

Collaborating with the FERC Supervisor and Manager, the full-time remote FERC Coordinator Team Lead will manage the accuracy of patient authorizations across multiple inpatient departments while providing guidance and training to the FERC Coordinator team.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily accounts to team members to ensure prioritization and completion of work queues
• Provide training for new hires and ongoing education regarding payer websites and authorization guidelines
• Review claim edit work queues and assist with performance management under supervision

Required qualifications

• Five years of related work experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on insurance and authorizations
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
