Job Summary
Managing key accessibility elements of the Sundance Film Festival, the full-time Festival Accessibility Manager will oversee accommodation processes, create resources and training, and support the Community & Belonging team to ensure an equitable Festival experience, primarily working remotely until January when the team will convene in Boulder, CO.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the creation and operational implementation of all accessibility accommodations for Festival guests
- Lead the frontline Accessibility team, providing policy guidance, scheduling, and coaching throughout their roles
- Act as the primary point of contact for Festival partners regarding accessibility standards and services
Required qualifications
- 3 years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging or transferable experience
- Understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and event accessibility
- Experience coordinating American Sign Language/Communication Access Realtime Translation vendors
- Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Valid driver's license and successful completion of MVR background check
