Fiber Installation Dispatcher
Job Summary
To support fiber drop installation and maintenance operations, the full-time Installation & Maintenance Dispatcher will manage scheduling, coordinate resources, and serve as the primary communication liaison between field teams and management, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily work assignments for installation and maintenance crews while coordinating with clients and field technicians
- Receive and prioritize work orders, ensuring accurate documentation before dispatching technicians
- Monitor job progress and technician locations, providing timely updates and addressing any issues that arise
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or dispatching
- Prior experience in the telecommunications or fiber installation/maintenance industry is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in scheduling and work order management tools
- Strong emphasis on adherence to safety and compliance standards
