Fiber Optic Test Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Test & Acceptance Specialist, the full-time position will involve analyzing fiber optic test data, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure network performance and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze OSP dark fiber test data and prepare detailed reports on fiber optic cable performance
• Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare technical documentation for stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure fiber optic systems meet required standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of five years in the telecommunications industry with experience in fiber optics and project management
• At least three years of experience analyzing fiber optic test results, including OTDR and OLTS
• Familiarity with EXFO and Viavi testing tools, as well as MS Excel and Google Earth
• Ability to understand and read construction documents
