Job Summary
To grow the grassroots climate movement in Japan, the full-time Field Organizer for Japan will build and support a volunteer community, recruit new participants, and deliver training while working remotely, preferably from the Kanto area.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and developing 350 Japan's organizing strategy and support campaign execution
- Maintain and grow the volunteer community while supporting activist leaders
- Deliver training programs and improve content to align with campaign goals
Required qualifications
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English
- Strong passion for climate change and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Ability to plan and deliver organizing activities with guidance
- Experience with digital organizing tools such as CRM, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment
