Finance Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing finance function, the remote Finance Analyst will manage the month-end close process, build and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting, and partner with various departments to analyze revenue and margin drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain core financial models and manage the annual budget and rolling forecast process
• Own the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and producing monthly financial statements
• Perform monthly variance analysis and partner with department leaders to provide insights on revenue and cost drivers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with substantial accounting coursework
• 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience, including month-end close activities and exposure to budgeting and forecasting
• Demonstrated financial modeling experience with operating models, budgets, or forecasts
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and hands-on experience with modern accounting systems
