Finance Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing finance function, the full-time remote Finance Analyst will manage the month-end close process, build financial models for forecasting and budgeting, and partner with various departments to analyze revenue and margin drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain core financial models, including annual budgets and rolling forecasts, while conducting scenario analyses
• Own the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and producing monthly financial statements with detailed explanations
• Perform variance analysis and partner with department leaders to provide insights on revenue, costs, and margins

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field with substantial accounting coursework
• 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience, including month-end close and exposure to budgeting or forecasting
• Demonstrated financial modeling experience with a strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with experience in a modern GL/accounting system
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a remote environment
