Finance Analytics Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing Finance Analytics team, the full-time remote Finance Analytics Data Analyst will manage financial data, create insightful reporting workflows, and enhance decision-making processes across various business metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Build and iterate on interactive dashboards to help stakeholders explore financial and business performance
- Translate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across key financial metrics
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial reporting cycles by investigating variances and identifying drivers
Required qualifications
- Experience in analytics or a related data role with proficiency in SQL and large dataset analysis
- Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables and star schemas
- Ability to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables and improve dashboards based on feedback
- Experience with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Familiarity with BI or AI tools and exposure to enterprise data sources such as Salesforce or Stripe is a plus
