Finance Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support financial operations, the full-time remote Finance Data Analyst will manage the daily finance ETL process, ensure the accuracy of financial data from the enterprise data warehouse, and perform data validation and reconciliation for various financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Run, monitor, and troubleshoot the daily finance ETL accounting process, producing policy transactions across premium, taxes, and fees
- Compare financial data from the enterprise data warehouse with current finance ETL outputs and investigate variances
- Develop and maintain automated validation rules and reconciliation checks for financial data delivered from the enterprise data warehouse
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in finance data analysis, financial reporting, or related analytical roles
- 2+ years of experience with commercial or specialty insurance data, including policy and premium transactions
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and data validation
- Experience diagnosing discrepancies in data across systems or ETL processes
- Proficiency in building recurring reports and financial data controls using SQL, Excel, or similar tools
