Finance Director

Job Summary

To build the financial foundation required for scaling past $100M ARR, the full-time Head of Finance will manage all financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, and investor reporting, while working closely with the CEO and Operations team in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all bookkeeping, payroll accounting, A/P, A/R, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring clean balance sheets and P&Ls
• Develop and maintain Ethyca's long-term financial model, including cashflow and expense projections, while conducting scenario planning for strategic decisions
• Deliver quarterly investor updates and board reporting packages, partnering with the CEO on fundraising strategy and financial storytelling

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience managing finance end-to-end at an early-stage or growth-stage technology company
• Proficiency in GAAP, accrual accounting, FP&A, and SaaS metrics
• Experience building or enhancing financial models for board-level decision-making
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and establish structured financial practices
