Finance Director

Job Summary

To support the organization's financial management, the full-time salaried Director of Finance will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance while working remotely and supervising finance personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts and analyses to support operational decisions
• Manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with donor requirements
• Coordinate annual audits and prepare necessary documentation for regulatory reporting and compliance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on budgeting and financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred
• Experience managing nonprofit finances and understanding of grant compliance and donor financial reporting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools
• Demonstrated experience supervising finance personnel and collaborating with senior leadership
