Job Summary

To support the modernization of the record-to-report process, the remote Finance Director - Minnesota Licensed will manage the transformation roadmap, translating business requirements into process designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the record-to-report transformation roadmap across various financial processes
• Translate business and accounting requirements into clear process designs and implementation plans
• Lead workstreams for design, testing, and stakeholder training, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and controls

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting experience at a Big 4 firm
• Experience leading cross-functional engagements or transformation initiatives
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, financial close, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and translate complex topics into business recommendations
• Interest in finance technology, automation, and AI-enabled transformation
