Finance Executive
Job Summary
Owning the entire finance function, the full-time Head of Finance will manage cash forecasting, monthly financial close, and strategic financial reporting in a remote role, primarily within the Eastern or Central time zones, while collaborating closely with the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and capital allocation decisions
- Deliver timely, accurate monthly financial close and maintain GAAP-compliant financials
- Develop and present financial packages to the CEO and Board, driving strategic decision-making
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in finance, including 2+ years in a senior role at a venture-backed company
- Hands-on experience with monthly close, GL, and financial statements
- Deep expertise in FP&A, three-statement modeling, and scenario analysis
- Proven track record in scaling a startup through significant revenue growth
- Experience managing Board reporting and collaborating with venture firms
