Finance-Focused AI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Finance-Focused AI Engineer will develop AI-powered tools to enhance financial analysis and streamline close activities, collaborating closely with finance stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted solutions for variance commentary and close-checklists that generate insights from financial data
• Develop experiences using Databricks and governed finance data to facilitate natural language exploration for analysts
• Collaborate with FP&A Analysts to create tools that enhance financial decision-making and measure solution adoption and productivity gains

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and building data-driven solutions
• 2+ years of experience in LLM application engineering, including prompt and context engineering
• 2+ years of experience using Python with full-stack development skills for production-ready applications
• 2+ years of experience working closely with Finance teams, with knowledge of FP&A processes and financial reporting
