Finance Lead
Job Summary
Owning the financial model and monthly close processes, the full-time Finance Lead will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations in a remote environment while building the financial planning function during a period of significant growth.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own the financial model, including budgets and rolling forecasts
- Partner cross-functionally with department leads on budget management and spend reviews
- Ensure accurate monthly financials through journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
Required qualifications
- Experience in finance roles, encompassing both accounting and financial planning & analysis
- Proficiency with modern finance tools such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Ability to maintain GAAP compliant books and work with external accountants
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS environment is preferred
- Familiarity with cash operations, including accounts payable and receivable
