Finance Operations Automation Manager

Job Summary

Owning and advancing the customer payment experience, the full-time hybrid Finance Operations Automation Manager will lead cash application automation capabilities, overseeing strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement across various payment methods and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end customer payment strategy, ensuring scalable and low-friction payment experiences
• Oversee cash application automation, including remittance ingestion and matching logic, while partnering with Finance and Accounting teams
• Act as the primary liaison for cash automation initiatives across Finance Operations, Accounting, Technology, and Client Experience teams

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, cash application, or related domains
• Proven experience leading automation and system implementation initiatives from requirements through deployment
• Strong analytical skills with practical experience in SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Experience with ERP systems and payment or banking platforms
