Job Summary
To drive critical financial operations within a dynamic engineering environment, the temporary remote Finance Operations Manager will manage budgeting, forecasting, and vendor spend while optimizing processes and delivering decision-grade insights through November 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Baseline budget, forecast, headcount, and vendor/contractor spend to ensure alignment with key projects
- Lead contractor conversion and vendor consolidation efforts from authorization through execution
- Build an automated single source of truth for spend and simplify purchase requisition and budgeting processes
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in FP&A or finance operations within a large engineering or technology organization
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for building automated data pipelines and reporting
- Deep experience managing vendor and contingent workforce spend, including SOWs and POs
- Demonstrated track record of redesigning workflows and automating manual tasks
- Proven ability to synthesize ambiguous data into a single source of truth and deliver executive-ready insights
