Finance Program Instructor

Job Summary

Teaching a variety of finance-related courses, the part-time Business Career Program Adjunct Instructor will plan and deliver in-class instruction while engaging students in project-based learning and evaluating their progress.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures for courses such as Risk Management and Financial Statement Analysis
• Assist students in their learning process and evaluate their progress using assessment tools
• Organize field outings for student enrichment and contribute to program improvement through committee involvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• At least two years of related work experience or specialized training in finance if the degree is not in a directly related field
• Ability to teach up to 27.5 hours per week and engage in professional development activities
• Experience in academic advising to support student growth and retention
• Commitment to attending quarterly instructor in-service meetings
