Finance VP

Job Summary

To lead financial strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, the full-time remote VP of Finance will manage financial models, budgets, forecasts, and reporting while collaborating closely with the CFO and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial core of client engagements, including operating models, budgeting processes, and ad-hoc analysis for strategic planning
• Develop and implement AI-driven reporting tools and dashboards to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency
• Prepare board presentations and provide strategic advice to founders and investors, ensuring effective communication of financial insights

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance roles, particularly in FP&A at venture-backed or high-growth companies
• Advanced expertise in accounting and FP&A, with a strong understanding of venture and growth-stage economics
• Experience in fundraising and advising on capital strategy, including board interactions and investor presentations
• Proven track record of building and leading finance teams, including mentoring direct reports
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI within finance workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy
